Crashes on the A146

Since 2000 the A146 has seen 1,255 collisions, 28 of them fatal and 214 serious. That ranks it 386th of 6,754 numbered A, B and M roads by total recorded collisions. Its fatal rate is 22.3 per 1,000 collisions, and 19% caused death or serious injury. Collisions have fallen by about 50% since 2000, from 62 to 31 in 2024. The heaviest local concentrations are in South Norfolk, East Suffolk and Norwich.
