Crashes on the A63

Since 2000 the A63 has seen 2,586 collisions, 53 of them fatal and 440 serious. That ranks it 157th of 6,754 numbered A, B and M roads by total recorded collisions. Its fatal rate is 20.5 per 1,000 collisions, and 19% caused death or serious injury. Collisions have fallen by about 65% since 2000, from 163 to 57 in 2024. The heaviest local concentrations are in Kingston upon Hull, City of, East Riding of Yorkshire and Leeds.
