Since 2000 the A632 has seen 1,082 collisions, 18 of them fatal and 208 serious. That ranks it 464th of 6,754 numbered A, B and M roads by total recorded collisions. Its fatal rate is 16.6 per 1,000 collisions, and 21% caused death or serious injury. Collisions have fallen by about 65% since 2000, from 77 to 27 in 2024. The heaviest local concentrations are in North East Derbyshire, Bolsover and Chesterfield.
