Its fatal rate is 27.4 per 1,000 collisions, and 20% caused death or serious injury. Collisions have fallen by about 57% since 2000, from 63 to 27 in 2024. The heaviest local concentrations are in Huntingdonshire, Central Bedfordshire and Fenland.
